The hotel's ambiance was exceptionally inviting with beautifully decorated spaces that felt warm and welcoming. I appreciated the attentive staff who assisted me with any inquiries, making my stay comfortable and enjoyable as a senior.
More breakfast options would be nice.

The convenient access to the skytrain allowed for easy travel to the city and airport. The room was clean and the bed comfortable, providing a quiet retreat during a busy weekend. However, the dining options were limited, and the buffet disappointed with its high price and mediocre food quality. The bathroom appeared outdated and could benefit from better light-blocking window treatments.

great location but uncomfortable pull-out bed
The location is perfect as it's close to the sky train for easy travel. Watching the planes land from our wharf view room added a memorable touch to our stay.
The pull-out couch bed was terrible.

not family friendly
If you have kids, definitely skip this place. The restaurants are all in the casino, so no food for them without going inside. Our room phones were broken too! The wait for the elevator was ridiculously long, and staff seemed pretty uninterested. On top of that, the place felt kind of dirty. The pool had no towels available either. Just not worth it.

we loved our stay at river rock casino. the location is fantastic, so close to events downtown, and the sky train makes it easy peasy to get around. the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. our kids enjoyed watching the planes land from our room, and there’s a starbucks on-site, which is perfect for a midday coffee fix.

We had a fun family reunion at this place with 20 family members, enjoying the beautiful waterfront views of the Fraser River and the casino action right in the food court. The kids loved the water slide, making pool time a blast!
In my wife’s opinion, the food options for families were limited, especially since some restaurants were off-limits for kids. It would be great if there were more child-friendly dining options available.
